Okinawa Day 2026

Since 1999, London Okinawa Sanshinkai has brought the culture of Okinawa – the southernmost islands of Japan – to the UK through music and dance performances.
Our biggest event of the year is Okinawa Day, which we’ve been hosting since 2009, bringing musicians, dancers, and other performers from the UK, Europe, and Japan together to showcase Okinawan culture in London.
